2015 – Welcome to a New Year

So I am sitting here with the comforting smell of dinner in the oven wafting through the house as the kitty sits at my feet on the ottoman and I have a glass of sparkling apple cider (we had more that we could drink last night) whilst I think of the things I want to accomplish this year.

  • One special pair of knitted socks a month (patterns that aren’t just stockinette)
  • Lose the weight I gained from the knee surgery/get in shape again
  • Save extra money for a year just so I can give my kids an extra special Christmas
  • Start reading a book (at least one) a month – because I spend no time relaxing/reading
  • Finish my WIPS (blankets I started up to 3 years ago)
  • Read my entire Bible (I still haven’t done that since I started to believe in 2009)
  • Finish two quilts I started last year (for Christmas 2015 – for the kids)
  • Keep my hands and dye off of my hair (oh and no more shaving of my head)

I have a few pictures to share as well:
